Risk Disclosure

Risk Disclosure

Version 1.1·Last updated: 2026-05-31

This Risk Disclosure sets out important information about the limits of the HeliconTrade service and the risks of trading and investing. It must be read before you rely on any Service output to make a financial decision. Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every person. HeliconTrade is a software tool that helps you analyse markets; it does not eliminate, reduce, or transfer your risk, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional regulated in your jurisdiction.

Information only — not personal advice

Nothing on this website, in our communications, or inside the product constitutes investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, nor a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security, derivative, digital asset, or other financial instrument. HeliconTrade has no knowledge of your personal financial situation, objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance, or regulatory status. You are solely responsible for assessing whether any output is appropriate for your circumstances and, where needed, for seeking independent advice from a qualified professional regulated in your jurisdiction.

Trading and investing involve risk of loss

All trading and investing involve risk, including the risk of total loss of the capital deployed. In leveraged, margin, derivative, or short-selling activity, losses can exceed the amount initially committed and may require additional funds at short notice. Markets can gap, halt, become illiquid, or move in ways that no historical pattern anticipates. Past performance and historical analysis are not indicative of, and provide no guarantee of, future results.

AI and model limitations

The Service relies on large language models and other statistical techniques that can produce outputs that are incorrect, incomplete, outdated, biased, or fabricated, even when expressed with apparent confidence. Scans and historical analyses are subject to look-ahead bias, survivorship bias, over-fitting, transaction-cost assumptions, slippage, and limitations of the underlying data. Treat every model output as a hypothesis that requires your own verification and judgment before any action; do not treat it as a deterministic signal or a guarantee of any market behaviour.

Market data and third-party content

Market data, news, fundamentals, and other content are sourced from third-party providers under licence. Such content may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, revised, or temporarily unavailable. Third-party providers do not warrant their content and may impose their own restrictions on display, redistribution, and use. HeliconTrade is not responsible for errors, omissions, or interruptions in third-party content, nor for any loss arising from reliance on it.

Service availability and operational risk

The Service may be unavailable, degraded, or delayed at any time due to maintenance, capacity issues, third-party outages, network conditions, force-majeure events, or other factors outside our reasonable control. Alerts may be late, mis-routed, or fail to deliver. Do not design a strategy whose viability depends on a single alert firing precisely on time with no backup mechanism, no broker stop, and no human monitoring. Any uptime targets published in product documentation are objectives, not warranties, and do not create liability beyond that expressly set out in our Terms of Service.

No execution, no custody, your broker

HeliconTrade does not transmit orders to exchanges, does not execute trades, does not hold cash or securities for you, and is not a counterparty to any transaction you enter into. When you decide to act on a Service output, you do so through a brokerage or trading account that you hold with a third party, subject to that third party's own terms, fees, margin requirements, and risk disclosures. Your relationship with your broker, custodian, or counterparty is independent of your relationship with HeliconTrade, and any dispute arising from execution, settlement, or custody is a matter between you and that third party.

Asset-class-specific risks

Different markets and instruments carry distinct risks. Equity and ETF prices can move sharply on company-specific or macro news. Options and futures involve leverage, time decay, and the risk of total loss of premium or margin. Foreign-exchange markets are highly leveraged and operate continuously. Digital assets and cryptocurrencies are particularly volatile, may trade on unregulated venues, are subject to evolving regulatory treatment, and may become entirely worthless. You are responsible for understanding the specific risks of each instrument and venue you transact in.

Suitability and your responsibility

You alone determine whether any trading activity is appropriate given your financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs. You should not commit capital you cannot afford to lose. Where the Service produces a strategy, alert, or analysis, you are responsible for evaluating its assumptions, testing its sensitivities, and deciding whether and how to act. HeliconTrade accepts no responsibility for trading decisions made by you or on your behalf.

Regulatory, tax, and jurisdictional matters

HeliconTrade is offered as software and is not regulated as a financial services provider. The availability of certain features may vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to you, including those governing securities trading, derivatives, digital assets, market conduct, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, and the reporting and payment of any taxes arising from your trading activity. If the law of your country prohibits or restricts use of the Service, you must not use it.

Summary — if you read only one paragraph

HeliconTrade helps you see and think faster. It does not promise profit, does not remove risk, does not execute trades, and does not replace your own judgment or the advice of a qualified professional. Markets move sharply and unpredictably; AI can be wrong; data can be late; services can fail; you can lose money. Use the Service accordingly, size your positions to what you can afford to lose, and seek independent advice where you need it.
